went to work as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell in West Union, Iowa.
Nancy was united in marriage with Elmer Heller on July 22, 1956 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clermont, Iowa. They lived and raised their family in Washburn, Iowa.
As well as being a homemaker, Nancy worked at Kmart in Waterloo until her retirement in 2001.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, baking and canning. Nancy loved spending time at the "Old House", spoiling her animals and baking the best apple pies.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Preceding Nancy in death are her husband, Elmer Heller; three children, Michael Heller, Ilene Rosauer and Timothy Heller; her siblings, Ann Blockhus, Joyce Westpfahl, Zebbert Pape and John Pape; and several in-laws.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clermont, Iowa.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clermont, Iowa with Rev. Don Komboh as the celebrant.
Burial will be at be at 2:30 pm on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Garden of Memories in Waterloo, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Nancy's honor, to the Clermont Fire Department or St. Peter's Catholic Church both in Clermont, Iowa.
