Norma Blick Jaskilka , 81, of Harmony Lane, formerly of New Haven, died Nov. 22. She was the wife of Samuel Jaskilka . She is also survived by sons, Michael C. Jaskilka of Eugene, Ore., and Samuel Mark Jaskilka of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters, Diane J. Coy of Boston and Anne J. Stalker of Covington, Wash.; and seven grandchildren. Norma B. Jaskilka , 81, a Marine Corps general's wife who accompanied him to posts around the United States and overseas, died Nov. 22 at the Heritage Harbor Health and Rehabilitation facility in Annapolis of complications after a stroke.
Mrs. Jaskilka was born in Stafford Springs, Conn., and graduated from the University of Connecticut. She received a master's degree in nursing from Yale and a master's degree in library science from the University of Maryland.
During her husband's military career, she accompanied him to posts in California, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Virginia and Morocco. They had lived in Annapolis for the last 22 years.
Her avocations included landscaping and reading.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Gen. Samuel Jaskilka of Annapolis; four children, Michael C., of Eugene, Ore., Samuel Mark, of Colorado Springs, Diane J. Coy of Boston and Anne J. Stalker of Covington, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.
