Norfolk - Jean Hamlet Parker, 93, passed away Nov. 9, 2021.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years , Edward Parker. Born and raised in Hollister, NC, she has been a long time resident of Norfolk since. Her three children, Randy, Cindy, and Robin, seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren will miss her greatly and cherish every memory with her.
She showed her kindness in so many ways including her devotion to volunteer work at Sentara Norfolk General for 35 years. She enjoyed an independent and active lifestyle until her death. In lieu of flowers, please reach out to someone with kindness to honor her memory.
A celebration of Jean's life is planned on November 20th, 2-4 at her home, and her body was donated to medical science.
