Gary Eugene Cox, age 55, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away November 10th, 2021.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday 11:00AM at Kimbrell-Stern. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Kimbrell-Stern.
Gary was born on August 14, 1966 in Albany, Georgia to William Eugene and Ellen Lynn Cox. The oldest of five children, Gary graduated from Westover High School and shortly after joined the United States Marines.
Gary was loving, chatty, and could be a bit goofy. Gary liked fishing, watching football and hanging out with friends and family. Gary always liked to make you laugh by saying silly things. He will be remembered by his contagious laugh and smile.
Gary is survived by his parents William and Lynn Cox of Albany, GA, sisters Rebecca Bevins of Toccoa, GA, Susan Page Panama City, FL, LeeAnn Hunt of Albany, GA, brother Robbie Cox of Albany, GA, 2 daughters, Caitlin Cox of Leesburg, GA, Erica Cox of Albany, GA and a son Garrett Cox, former wife and best friend Stefanie Cox of Grand Junction, CO. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents.
