Mr. Aaron "Bruce" Copley, age 73, of Tollesboro, Kentucky passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
He was born Sunday, August 1, 1948 in Holden, West Virginia to the late Bob and Dorothy Perry Darnell.
Bruce was of the Baptist Faith and retired after 37 years of service at DP&L. He enjoined going to eat, traveling, playing his guitar, singing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Boyd Darnell.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret "Peggy" Schweibold Copley. One daughter, Julie Ann Copley and Jeremy of Maysville, Kentucky. Three Grandchildren, Tessa Ann Mineer and Rodney, Klye Copley and Amber, and Natalie Copley and Jacob. One great-grandchild, Ryland Bruce Clark Mineer along with a host of other family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Tollesboro, Kentucky with Brother Rodney Mineer officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt Carmel Cemetery in Fleming County, Kentucky at a later date. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 1:30 at Tollesboro Funeral Home And Cremation Services in Tollesboro, Kentucky.
