Mr. W.C. Parks, age 75 of Dalton, departed this life on Wednesday, at his residence.

He was the son of the late W.C. Parks Sr. and Leila Bowen Parks.
Bill was a graduate of North Georgia College and served as second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, he returned to Dalton to begin his real estate career as a pioneer in home building and developing. He was a long-time servant of the Fellowship Bible Church, where he was an elder, deacon and treasurer for many years.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ivy Deems Parks of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Parks, Phillip and Lynda Parks all of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Raymond Neno of Savannah.
Brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Jane Parks of Dalton, Gordon and Judy Parks of Statesboro; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary and Herb O'Briant, Martha Hackney all of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Miki Parks, Kim Parks, Hannah Parks, Dew Parks and Rachel Neno.

Services were held on Friday from the Fellowship Bible Church on Dug Gap Road with the Rev. Jim Burgess officiating.

Love Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
