Leicester - Mary Frances Worley, 72, of Mary Rose Lane, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, at the Solace Center.
Mrs. Worley was the daughter of the late William Thomas Adams and Margaret Haldeman, of Virginia. She was a native of Rockingham, Va., and resided in Buncombe County. Mrs. Worley was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Newport News, Va. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and she also loved her crafts, bowling, and her dolls she collected.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Worley, of the home; daughters, Shirley Powell, and husband, Wayne, of Glouseter, Va., Debra Harwood, of Leicester, and Linda Henderson, and husband, Fred, of Ellenboro, N.C.; son, David Wayne Worley, and wife, April, of Leicester; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and brother, William Thomas Adams Jr., of Va.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Moore and Rocky Harwood officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
