GALA B. GAY, 87, of Meadowbrook Terrace, Warwick Avenue, a retired housekeeper, died yesterday at the home of her daughter in Warwick.
She was the wife of the late Patrick J. Gay.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Arthur and Lula Estelle (Johnson) Case, she had resided in East Providence before moving to Warwick in 1959.
She was a housekeeper at Grinnel Fire Protection corporate office in Providence for 10 years before retiring in 1977.
Mrs. Gay was a communicant of St. Kevin Church. She was a member of the Meadowbrook Terrace Tenants Association, and a member and former assistant treasurer of the Meadowlarks.
She is survived by a daughter, a son, a brother, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Lula Mae Kadan, Lawrence, Richard, Leslie and Raymond Case, and Ruth Tiplady.
