Sophie Rosemary Durante, age 99, passed away on November 16, 2021. Rosemary was born in Cleveland, OH on July 16, 1922 to the late Stanley and Mary Zenowitz. Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Dominick Durante Sr. for 46 years.

Rosemary was involved with many organizations throughout her life. In the beginning, Rosemary worked for many years in the photography department of The May Company in downtown Cleveland. She was a talented artist who made beautiful hand tinted portrait photos. In addition, she was the secretary of the local O.A.P.S.E. Rosemary was also actively involved with Roosevelt PTA, even becoming president of the PTA at one point. She was a big baker whose love for baking was evident in the baked goods she provided for many, including the Willoughby Eastlake School District for many years. Rosemary is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake, OH 44095. Funeral Mass for Rosemary will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Church 32114 Vine St., Willowick, OH 44095. Burial will immediately follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donation be made in Rosemary's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
