Three years ago you left us, dear Mother. No one knows our bitter pain that we have suffered; Life can never be the same. Softly at night the stars are shining on a sad and lonely grave, where lies our darling mother whom we loved but could not save. Sleep on, dear mother; be at rest; God called you home; He knew it best. We will meet you on the golden shore where we shall part no more.
