He is survived by his mother, Ellen of Iowa; two daughters, Kimberly Brandenburg of Paris and Ashley Brandenburg of Fort Smith; two brothers, Marshall Brandenburg of Arkoma and Wade Brandenburg of Texas and a half-sister, Kimberly Swanson of Iowa.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
