FJ Acord Campbell, 82, passed away November 9, 2021. Survived by sister, Hazel Schelper; son, Steve (Ann) Williams; daughter, Diana (Michael) Vigil; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew; and friends of more than 60 years, Jim Kern, Mickey Barnhart, Harold McMichael and John Kern.

Preceded in death by his wife, Marie; parents, Charles and Elva Campbell; brother, Clyde Campbell; son, David Williams; and daughter, Deborah Booker.

FJ was born on July 6, 1939, in Sparks, Okla., served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960 and was honorably discharged and worked at the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling especially to Cathedral.

FJ took on the role of husband and father to Marie and four kids. He was the best husband and father anyone could ever ask for. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the hospice staff, Brett, Staci, Erin and especially Caroleena who made dad smile.

There will be a Celebration of Life, 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in the Montgomery & Steward Banquet Hall. Memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice in FJ's name. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
