Leon Anderson Dies, Was Mail Carrier: Leon Edward Anderson, 78, of Trout Run RD 1, died at 4 a.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1959 at the Williamsport Hospital. Born in Salladasburg March 31 1880, he was the son of William and Mary Anderson. Mr. Anderson retired as a mall carrier about five years ago. He was a member of the Morris Lodge Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Surviving are his wife, the former Tressa McCracken; one daughter, Miss Mildred Anderson, of this city; three sons, Kenneth, of Trout Run RD, Mervin, of Burbank Calif., and Cecil, of Trout Run; two brothers Arthur and Irvin Shook, of Pinconning, Mich.; our grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturay at the Steam Valley Church. The Rev. Richard Starr and the Rev. Charles Adams will officiate. Burial will be in the Steam Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at Sanders', 21 Diamond 'Street, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church from 1 p.m. Saturday to the time of the service.
