Peggy Lee Chronister, 66, of Westminster died Friday, Frebruary 24, 2017 at the Dove House. Born February 21, 1951 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Willard Maurice Rippons and Janet Louise Crebs Rippons. She is the loving wife of 45 years to, Robert Chronister.
Before becoming a homemaker, she was a pie maker for Baughers and also worked in a nursing home as a caregiver. She enjoyed cooking and canning, flowers and loved to go camping. She had a great passion for animals and loved spending time with family and friends.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Anita Michelle Annette Hardman and companion Walt Thompson, Robbie Allen Chronister and wife Stacy, granddaughter Kayla Hardman and grandson Gage Chronister. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Marvin Reinhardt, Robert Reinhardt and wife Diane, Patricia Reinhardt-Trent and husband Steve and Patricia McCormick and husband Bill. Foster parents Karl and Marguerite Kroger and very good friend Nancy Runkles.
She was predeceased by a son Robert Lee Chronister Jr.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 7 to 9:00 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
Funeral services will held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Andrew Reisberg officiating. Interment will follow at Bart's Cemetery in Littlestown PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
