After Joseph died (sometime between 1880 and 1897), Charlotte married Eli Bucher. Charlotte and Eli were married on April 28, 1897 in Bourbon, Marshall County, Indiana. Sometime after 1904, Charlotte apparently went back to using the surname "Spady" as that is what appears on her death certificate.
