Phyllis M. Anderson, 91, passed away on a Saturday, at the Bishop Noa Home.

She was the daughter of Harvey and Dorothy (Weissert) Spade. Phyllis was raised in Escanaba and graduated from Escanaba High School. She attended Bay College where she received her CNA certification.

On August 19, 1950, Phyllis married James Anderson in Escanaba.

She worked at Delta Floral and then many years as a CNA at the Bishop Noa Home until her retirement.

Phyllis loved gardening and anything to do with art, such as painting, decorating, and drawing.

She was survived by: children, Mike Anderson, Doug Anderson, Lynn Anderson Bixler, and Greg Anderson; grandchildren, Mike Anderson, Brad Anderson, McKenzie Bixler, Jacob Anderson, and Chase Anderson; four great-grandchildren, Marissa, Bradey, Sawyer, and Collyns Anderson; and sister, Valerie Ladewig.

Phyllis was preceded in death by: parents, Harvey and Dorothy Spade; husband; James Anderson; son, Scott Anderson; grandson, Dakota Bixler; brothers, Doug and Phillip Spade; and sisters, Helen Jung and Priscilla Lerch.

Visitation at St. Anne's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Rev. Fran DeGroot. Laid to rest in the Bark River Cemetery. Assisted by the Crawford Funeral Homes.
