Albert William (Bill) Asendorf was born on December 3, 1942 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania to Ruth and Reverend Albert S. Asendorf.

Bill graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. He became its Admissions Director.

Bill then did Human Resources work for Owens Corning Fiberglass in Anderson, South Carolina and Toledo, Ohio; Rudolph Libbe, Inc. in Toledo, Ohio; S & R Equipment in Toledo, Ohio; Hickory Farms in Toledo, Ohio; and Robinair in Montpelier, Ohio. Then he became a more personal Human Resources Consultant. Bill finally became self-employed at his "Painterman" quality painting business.

Bill married Joanie McCrackin in 1976. His daughter is Robyn.

Bill was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio. He visited elderly shut-in parishioners, bringing meals and assisting with home repairs.

Bill was a master gardener. As a volunteer, he planted many of the attractive trees and shrubs at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Bill died at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio on April 21, 2008 in Perrysburg, Ohio.
