Carol A. Angstrom, 75, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Trinity, Rock Island.

Carol Ann Skelley was born September 7, 1946 in Davenport, a daughter of Thomas and Florence "Flora" (Smith) Skelley. She was united in marriage to Edwin "Eddie" Angstrom on February 12, 1966 in Davenport.

She graduated from the former Stewart's School of Cosmetology and had been a beautician before entering the restaurant industry, owning and operating the former Calico Corner in downtown Davenport, as well as working at Mac's Tavern.

Carol was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening, interior design, and DIY/ crafting projects. She was the matriarch of her family and their "rock in the storm", always putting others first. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her dogs.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Eddie; sons Eric (Rachael) Angstrom, Park View, Jeff (Donna) Angstrom, Blue Grass; daughters Tracy (Dave) Fischlein, Walcott, Stephanie (Scott) Angstrom, Davenport, Rhea (Bob) Mastin, Davenport; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; sisters Nancy (Sonny) Ashcraft, Cape Coral, FL, Connie Skelley, Englewood, FL; and brother Mark Skelley, Sunrise Beach, MO.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Shannon Angstrom; parents and brothers Chuck, Mike, and Thomas Skelley.

Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery, Blue Grass.
