He was born, February 18, 1898 in Brandenburg, Kentucky the son of Elisah Richard Bondurant and Laura Ann Garey. He was a US Army Veteran of World War I and later spent 20 years in Rome with the Army Corp of Engineers. He retired and moved to Arizona five years ago settling in Scottsdale in 1968.
He married Martha L. McDuffie on February 27, 1932 in Bexar County, Texas.
He married Audrey Pledger Hayes Wenger on January 13, 1966 in Grayson County, Texas.
He is survived by his wife the former Audrey Pledger ; a daughter, Baronness Arianna Starrabba of Rome; a brother, Elisha Rishard Bondurant and three grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen by family.
