Lynn and Lee were twins born after their older brothers Bill and Dick. Since Lee was born a few minutes earlier, he teased Lynn his whole life about being the youngest child. Growing up on the family dairy farm near Richmond, Lynn milked cows each day before school and again before bed. He thought the worst part about milking cows was when a cow would put a dirty hoof into a bucket that was nearly full. But the best part was that his dad sold their milk and cream to Casper's Dairy. Lynn enjoyed getting ice cream with his brothers there and telling the clerk to "put the cost on the milk tab." Lynn enjoyed Casper's signature Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches and Casco Nut Sundaes all his life. When Lynn was young, his dad gave him a cow, and selling milk from this cow provided Lynn with weekly spending money. After graduating from North Cache High School in 1957, Lynn moved to Idaho Falls to work building houses for his brother Dick. Lynn and Dorothy were married in Idaho Falls LDS Temple on December 21, 1962, and they were blessed with four children: Jodi, Darin, Eric, and Jason. Early on, Lynn began installing custom countertops during the evenings and on weekends and eventually started his own business, Lynn's Custom Countertops. People often asked how much plastic laminate he had lain over the years. His answer, which began as "a lot" early in his career, changed to "over a million square feet" by the time he retired. Lynn enjoyed work. Whether on a job site, in his garden, or a project for his children, he always gave his best effort and took pride in his accomplishments. Lynn took joy in church service throughout his life. As a young man, he served an LDS mission in Arizona. Over the years, he filled many calling, including postings in MIA, Deacons Quorum, Sunday School presidencies, and High Priest Group Leaderships. In retirement, Lynn and Dorothy served two church service missions at Idaho Falls Deseret Industries. While Dorothy taught job skills, Lynn filled any need he could find. Aside from his work and service in the church, Lynn enjoyed golf, gardening, playing wit grandchildren and an occasional fishing trip. Survivors included: children Jodi (Jaren) Robison, Darin Skidmore, Eric (Amy Jean) Skidmore, Jason (Erica) Skidmore; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brothers Bill Skidmore and Lee (Carol) Skidmore. His brother Dick and grandchildren Josh and Joy precedied. Funeral services held Saturday, November 13th at Ammon Stake Center
