Jean Edith Andrew, formerly of Havana, Illinois, born on May 19, 1927 to Maurice & Viola Bryan, passed away at the age of 92 on December 16, 2019 in Pekin, Illinois. Jean was the lovely and devoted wife, dental assistant & secretary of Dr. James Arthur Andrew. She wore many hats. Jean had a passion for golf, playing cards with friends, and she loved attending St. Barnabas's Episcopal Church. Jean had a passion for life and would go camping and boating even into her eighties.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arthur Andrew, her son, James Philip Andrew, and her brother, James E. Bryan. She is survived by her sons, John Andrew, Greg Andrew, Tom Andrew, and her daughter, Mary Maxwell. She was a wonderful grandmother to ten grandchildren: Jenell, Jamie, JoAnna, Maggie, Heidi, Lindi, Leah, Leslie, Eli & Aaron. She had thirteen great grandchildren: Roger, Chance, Grace, Ruby, Cash, Liam, Andrew, Collin, Brooks, William, Juliet, Ava & Lauren.

Fofo, her nickname from her grandchildren, loved to teach us card games and Yahtzee. She always had her cookie jar full when we visited. Although her memory has not been good for a few years, memories of her will always be cherished.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Havana. Fr. Michael Newago will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
