Norma A. Thomas, 91 of Curwensville died on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on March 16, 1916 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late James and Lydia (Hoffer) Wingert.
Mrs. Thomas was employed as a clerk at City Drug Store, Curwensville for 25 years. She was a member of the Curwensville Presbyterian Church and the Curwensville Women's Club.
She is survived by two grandchildren, James Thomas of Rockton, Cheri K. Thurstin of Curwensville, a daughter-in-law, Linda N. Thomas of Curwensville and a sister, Elva Barrett of Curwensville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Thomas on March 8, 1945 and whom she married January 13, 1943 in Wilson, NC and her son Eugene W. Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel T. Ledford officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Saturday from Noon until 1:00 PM.
