RAUBER -- in San Leonardo, September 17, 1929, Kate B. Rauber, wife of the late George Rauber and mother of Mrs. Mildred Berek, Mrs. Stella Fortin, Mrs. Elphya Bliss, Mrs. Lindy Hayden, and Tony J. and Roy J. Rauber. A native of Wisconsin, aged 73 years.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Thursday, September 19, 1929, at 3 o'clock p.m. at Truman's residence chapel, Telegraph avenue and 30th street, Oakland.

Kate was one of 9 children born to the Glassels. She was born and grew up in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. She married George John Rauber on May 24, 1877 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. Their first child, Mildred was born in Wisconsin. Abt 1880 they moved to Worth County, Iowa where Tony and Lindy were born. 1885 found them in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa where Effie, Stella and Roy were born. Around 1900 the entire family had located to Dade County, Missouri. Next move was to Tarrant County, Texas (abt 1904). When the final move happened it was to Alameda County, California (abt 1921), Tony, Lindy had married and settled down in Texas. California is where Kate lived out the remainder of her life (1929).
