Arnie was born Dec. 4, 1929 in Bonetraill, North Dakota, the son of the late Olaf and Oline Henlein Bakken. He married Donna Arnson in 1967. He enjoyed gardening.
Arnie was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents, Olaf and Oline; siblings, Kenny, Alma, Olive, Ray, Eunice, Duane, and Warren; step-daughter, Kathy Gale and step-daughter-in-law, Nancy.
He is survived by his brother, Harold (Kay) Bakken; numerous nieces and nephews; step-children, Paul (Pat) Arnson, Dan Arnson, Cindi (Dennis) Mersman, Tom Arnson, and Kelly Arnson; 12 step grandchildren, 16 Great grandchildren and a few great great-grandchildren.
No public services are scheduled. Urn placement will take place in Bonetraill, North Dakota where he will be laid to rest with his wife Donna. Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
