NOLAND – Carl Robert Noland, age 87 of Grove City, was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 15, 1934 and passed away November 3, 2021. Carl was preceded in death by parents, Thomas Arthur and Rachel Mae (Conklin) Noland, brothers, Art Crissinger and Delmar Noland, and wife Beverly.
Survived by son, Carl David (Anna) Noland, daughters, Misty (Todd) Wyatt and Sharon Heskett. Grandchildren Carl "DJ" David Jr. (April) Noland, Natasha (Jeff) Ison and Jacob Stokes. Great-grandchild Asher Noland.
Carl often said he was from the big city of Amity. He loved working on farms when he was young. Carl was a 1954 graduate of Canaan High School. After graduating he worked at Kroger bakery, construction, in the Army Reserves at Ft. Hayes then on to a truck driving career. He retired from Roadway Express. His most important goal in life was spreading the gospel of Jesus. He wanted everyone to know the sweet love of Christ.
Visitation will be held from 12- 1 PM, Monday, November 15, 2021 at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St, Plain City, Ohio where a funeral service will begin at 1 PM, Monday with Pastor Kevin Brown officiating. Burial immediately following at Forest Grove Cemetery.
