He also married Irene Kollenbaum, 3 September 1920 in Winona, Minnesota under the name of Gordon L Byrne (There are newspaper articles that show this and marriage records available) although later this marriage was annulled. She was part of one of his many schemes.
Shortly after his children were born, he took to using an alias, Calvin Corneilus Green. He sometimes went by CC Green also. Using Calvin he met and married another woman in a different state, Elvin D Doty, they were married 8 October 1923 in Lake City, Craighead, Arkansas, USA. Calvin and Elvin had 4 children together, Juanita Green, Doty Green, Wayne Turner Green, Daniel Norris Green.
It was a few years before the spouse found out about each other, and Laura ended up divorcing Oliver. Oliver Miles Barger AKA Calvin Corneilus Green Stayed married to Elvin D Doty until his death June 16, 1956. A family member said that Elvin and Calvin were in a car accident, and she was taken to the hospital, he went to a hotel room, where he was later found to be dead from an apparent heart attack.
