After 35 years of marriage, Ray died in 1980. Blanche met Air Force Retired Lieutenant Colonel Obed "O.B." Oglesby and in 1981, they married. After 32 years of marriage, O.B. died in 2014. For the last 39 years, Blanche walked two miles a day until she could no longer at 96 years of age. Her advice to everyone was "Don't Get Old!"

Blanche is survived by her wonderful cat, Toby, who she rescued for O.B., but ended up being HER best friend. McNeal (Rhonda) of Ocala, Christopher S.
