Born 1782 in Pennsylvania,married Maria(Christina) Fisc
her.Shelby County History:went to Ohio and located in Fairfield County.remained untill 1833.when they came to Shelby County,and settled on the farm now owned by J.J. Schilling in Franklin Township,on which they remained untill 1847,when they moved to Dinsmore Township and located on the farm now owened by George Fogt,Sr.one mile south of Botkins,where they passed the remained of their days.

Mr.Boyer died in May,28 1860.His Companion departed this life November 20,1867.they reared a family of ten children,viz., Elizabeth,Daniel,Lucinda,Samual F.,Joseph,Mary,George,Christina,William and Savina.Oly four of the above Children are now living,Viz., Elizabeth,Mary,William,and Savine
