Geraldine E. Slifer, 67, of Quakertown, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 in St. Lukes Quakertown Hospital. She was the wife of Herbert Slifer. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in June. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn (Rothrock) Davis. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pleasant Valley.
Survivors: In addition to her husband; brother, Richard Davis; sisters, Dolores Miller, Marguerite Kunsman and Nancy Salgado. She was predeceased by a son, Herbert Slifer Jr.
Services: will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2004, C.R. Strunk Funeral Home Inc., 821 W. Broad St., Quakertown. Call 9-10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
