James "Nolan" Adams, 74 of the Long Creek Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Friday, October 29, 2021, at his residence.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Floyd and Versa Hall Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene "Pete" Adams and his brother-in-law, Darrell Lail.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane Grindstaff Adams; daughters, Lisa Williams, Lora Bowman, and Lana Trull all of Robbinsville, NC. His brother, Randall Adams (Carol) of Robbinsville, NC and sister, Janice Lail of Robbinsville, NC, and sister-in-law Lona Rae Adams of Robbinsville, NC. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jessica Millsaps, Tori Haney, Isaac Hall, Taylor Williams, Tia Hall, and 2 great grandchildren, Anna, and Triton Williams and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend Roger Orr and Jacky Gregory will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
