Henrietta T. Daken, age 76, passed away suddenly Dec. 9, 2007.

She was born Jan. 17, 1931, in Tilden, Wis., to Henry and Loretta (nee Ruf) Boos. She grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from McDonald High School in 1949. In February 1950, she married Leo J. Daken at Notre Dame Parish in Chippewa Falls and raised four children. She pursued a career in sales with Tupperware Corp., Avon, and insurance. After the children had grown, she went to work for Cray Research, from which she retired.

Henrietta is survived by her four children, Larry (special friend, Carol Stage) Daken of Altoona, Wis., Jean (Ron) Whiteside of Eau Claire, Wis., Brenda (Dennis) Fenner of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and David Daken of Eau Claire, Wis.; nine grandchildren, Sean (Ann) Daken of Boulder, Colo., Craig (Sarah) Stabenow of Chippewa Falls, Wis., Kylie Stabenow of Houston, Kellie (Scott) Bostrom of Altoona, Wis., Jeffery (Aimee) Whiteside of Eagan, Minn., Jamie Whiteside of Minneapolis, Minn., Matthew Fenner of Chicago, Jessica (fiance John Brown) Fenner of Eau Claire, Wis., and Anthony Fenner of Lacey, Wash.; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Marie Zweifelhofer of Eau Claire, Wis.; and three brothers, Roman Boos of California, Norman (Joyce) Boos of Cadott, Wis., and Thomas (Margaret) Boos of West Allis, Wis. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She is preceded by her husband in 2001; her parents; a daughter, Mary Stabenow, and her husband, Kenneth; a granddaughter, Sarah Fenner; four brothers, Clarence, Gerald, Ludwig and Henry "Bud" Boos; and two sisters, Melinda Knorn and Josephine Fenner.

The Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1812 Lynn Ave., Altoona. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Plombon's All Faiths Funeral and Cremation Service, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire, with a parish vigil service at 6 p.m., and again at the church Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
