Griffith "Griff" B. Dorn, Jr. was born in Maryland on February 9, 1936 to the late Griffith and Eira Dorn. He passed peacefully on October 29, 2021 at the age of 85.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Griffith Byrd Dorn, Sr. and Eira Dorn (Nee Reese) and his first wife, Marion Dorn (Nee Dillard).
He is survived, and will be greatly missed, by his devoted wife, Denalyn Dorn. As well as his loving children, Julie Dorn Atherholt (Jeffrey), Janet Dorn Menninger, and Mary Beth Chamberlain (Jeff). Griff was an adoring grandfather to eight and great grandfather to seven. His loss will be felt by many other caring family and friends.
Family and friends may gather at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd. Catonsville, MD 21228 on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a memorial gathering with a memorial service taking place at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Child Fund.
