Survived by wife, Mrs. Mary Leftwich Gower, Nashville; daughters, Mrs. Lorene Ensey, Florence, Ala. and Mrs. Howard Friedli, Nashville; son, Lorenzo Dow Gower III, Nashville; sisters, Mrs. W. C. Boone, Mrs. E. A. Holt both of Nashville and Mrs. Marvin Comstock, Greenbriar; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren. Remains are at the Chapel of Pettus Owen & Wood, 4506 Charlotte Ave. where services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 conducted by Rev. James Gregg and Dr. John Langlois. Interment Woodlawn.
