Martin E. "Marty" Buntin, 62, of Anderson, passed away on October 28, 2021. He was born on December 5, 1958, in Anderson, Indiana, where he resided all of his life.
Marty was a food service supervisor for Pendleton Correctional Facility for several years.
He liked collecting model cars (Hotwheels), old cars, fishing, Star Trek, scary movies but especially loved to spend time with his family.
Marty is survived by his loving children, Cory (Rhonda) Buntin and Christina (Jabez Ferrell) Buntin; grandchildren, Daylon, Samuel Jr., Jabez, Thomaz, Gavin, and Robert; and great-grandson, Skylon. Also, surviving are his siblings, Denise (Gary) Parks, Brenda (Dave) Baker, Judith (Sam) Young, Jason (Mellissa) Truax, and Andy Truax, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel R. Buntin; father, Martin R. Buntin; mother, Ruth Camp; and brother, Trent Truax.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN.
Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
