Delores Wooliscroft, 99, of Bagley, Minnesota died on October 27, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Bagley, Minnesota.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley, MN and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Kuleta officiating. Interment will be held at the Bagley City Cemetery.

Delores Leatrice was born August 27, 1922 in Crosby, ND. To parents Carl and Alberta (Lund) Trowbridge. Delores was baptized in Lutheran Faith. As a child she also lived in Medicine Lake, MT; Minneapolis, MN; and then moved to Park Rapids, MN in 1926. Delores attended school in Park Rapids and was confirmed on July 4, 1937 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Park Rapids. As a young girl she delivered newspapers, babysat, and did house cleaning. Means of transportation was walking or riding her bicycle. As a teenager she worked as a waitress. In 1943-1945 she worked at Defense Plants in Minneapolis, MN.

Delores met George Wooliscroft in the summer of 1946. She moved to Bagley, MN in February of 1947 doing housework, and worked in Thief River Falls picking turkeys. Delores and George were married on August 15, 1948. Delores worked for Lillegaard's Clothing Store from 1948-1951. Delores and George welcomed their first daughter Marilyn in March of 1954 and their second daughter Carol in December of 1959. While George went to work for the U.S. Steel out of Duluth, MN. Delores and the girls took care of sheep and beef cattle on the farm. Delores also worked at the Co-op Locker, Yardstick and Ben Franklin Store. George was ill with cancer and passed away in October of 1985. Delores also kept the Mane Image Beauty Shop cleaned for her daughter for several years, while living in the back of it.

Delores belong to the Bagley American Legion Auxiliary and was President for 1 year. She was a long-time member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was very active in Ladies Aid, and Women's Circle. Delores enjoyed her church and her faith was important to her. At church she also worked putting the newsletter together once a month, taught Sunday School, and did a lot of sewing for the church. She took interest in the Bagley Senior Center, where she was on the board for 15 ½ years and held various offices for several years. Delores did a lot of sewing for the Senior Center and was also in charge of their Fair Booth.

Delores enjoyed embroidering and made hundreds of dish towels that she gave away as gifts. She liked playing cards, being with grandchildren, sewing, and loved the Clearwater County Fair.

She is survived by her 2 daughters- Marilyn (Bruce) McNamara of Solway, MN;
Carol Neumann of Brooklyn Center, MN;
Brother- Roger (Yvonne) Trowbridge of Aurora, MN.
Sisters- Alvina "Babe" Rheinheimer of Lebanon, IN and Lois Tidwell of Fairview, TN.
Brother-in-law- Floyd (Evelyn) Woolliscroft of Fosston, MN.
Sister-in-law- Adeline (Alton Walker) Wooliscroft of Bagley, MN.
Grandchildren- Sarah (Jeramiah) Melquist of Lindstrom, MN; Scott (Vanessa Solarz) Neumann of Alexandria, MN; Sammi (Mike) Lindmann of Alexandria, MN; Steven Neumann of Yuma, AZ; Shannon McNamara of Rhinelander, WI.
Great Grandchildren- Addison Melquist, Kaiden Melquist, Brienna Melquist, Brody Brandt, Liam Lindemann, Wesley Lindemann, Skye Neumann, Mae Neumann, Jackson Neumann and Stella Solarz

He was preceded in death by her husband- George Woolliscroft; parents- Carl and Alberta Trowbridge; Brothers- Merle, Freddie, James; Sister-Margorie; father-in-law and mother-in-law-John and Mable Woolliscroft; Sister-in-law- Evelyn (Allen) Pitzer; brothers-in-law- Joshua and Sam Woolliscroft; nephews-Larry Pitzer and Mike Woolliscroft.
