Mrs. Elsie M. Hill, wife of John J. Hill died Tuesday at the Nightingale Nursing Home after a long illness. The former Elsie Ashworth, she was born in Cohoes and resided there until about eight years ago when she moved to Troy where she resided at 666 River Street. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hill is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Willis Dufrane of Cohoes; one son, John L. Hill of Glens Falls; three sisters, Mrs. James Graham of Pleasantdale, Mrs. James Dunville of Utica, Mich., and Mrs. Dow Fonda of Cleveland, O., and four brothers, Earl of Albany, William of Pittsburgh, Richard S. of Schenectady and Arthur Ashworth of Troy. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, Cohoes. Interment will take place at Waterford Rural Cemetery.
