CHAMPAIGN - Mildred L. Dewhirst, 100, of Champaign died at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday (April 19, 2005) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Hope Mausoleum, 611 E. Pennsylvania Ave., C. The Rev. Dave Tutje will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Mittendorf-Calvert Funeral Home, 611 E. Pennsylvania Ave., C, is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Dewhirst was born Feb. 18, 1905, in Champaign, a daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Pauline Neukon Percival. She married Paul Dewhirst in Champaign. He died Nov. 14, 1994.
Survivors include a son, James Dewhirst of Key Largo, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Mrs. Dewhirst worked with her husband at Dewhirst Drug Store in Champaign for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Champaign and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
