Mrs. J. B. Brookshire, Miami, Fla., formerly of Grayson, Ga., died Sept. 4. 1962. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Connie Smith, Miami; Mrs. Vera Orr, Decatur; a son, Mr. J. Branson Brookshire, Roanoke, Ala.; several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m., at Grayson Baptist Church with the remains placed in state at 1:30. Rev. Lanier Beasley and Dr. L. E. Smith officiating. Interment, Chestnut Grove Cemetery. The body will be at F. Q. Sammon Funeral Home after Friday evening.
