Obituary for Frances Marie Rickel
FRANCES MARIE RICKEL (nee Perkins) passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness on October 13, 2021, at her home in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was born in Clarksfield, Ohio, on April 23, 1926, to Harry and Frankie Belle Perkins.
She was a 1945 graduate of Wellington High School, and lived most of her life in Wellington, Elyria, and Toledo, Ohio, as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Ralph Duane Rickel, by son Richard W Rickel, daughter Michelle Clutter; brothers Delton, Donald, Richard, Robert, and Wilbur (Curlie) Perkins, and a sister Norma.
She is survived by son Robert W Rickel (Anne) of Palm Harbor, Florida, in addition to 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A time of greeting and sharing of memories for friends and family on Friday, November 5th, 2021 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria, Ohio 44035.
A graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington, Ohio, will be on Saturday, November 6th, 2021.
The family requests any donations in her memory be made to Suncoast Hospice of Florida.
