Leo Watts, age 92, of Allen, KY, husband of Pearl Gayheart Watts, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born May 5, 1929 in Neeley, KY, a son of the late Ruby and Effie Hays Watts. He was a member of the Allen Baptist Church, the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association and was a retired school teacher.





In addition to his wife, Pearl, he is survived by one son; Randall Leo Watts (Angie), Allen, KY, three daughters; Susan Barnett and Donna Reitz (Tommy), all of Allen, KY and Rebecca Watts, Prestonsburg, KY, five sisters; Mildred Blair and Alma Waddell, both of Hindman, KY, Eleanor Bolen, Pinetop, KY, Palma Cornett, Greenup, KY and Sue Adams, Winchester, KY, seven grandchildren, Brandon Barnette (Ricarda), Josh Barnette (Jessica), Cory Reitz (Susan), Cayne Reitz, Courtney Sheldon (Ryan), Garran Newsome and Jaxon Leo Watts, seven great grandchildren; Kyria Barnette, Kasyn Barnette, Arianna Barnette, Preston Phelps, Molly Reitz, Tuck Sheldon and Beau Sheldon.





He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Dr. Gene Watts and Ed Watts, two sisters; Venessie Austin and Lois Johnson.





Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Allen Baptist Church, with Tim Searcy officiating, burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.



In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Allen Baptist Church, PO Box 541, Allen, KY 41601.
