Pauline Mae (Blair) McNeff, age 94, of Cincinnati, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at home with family surrounding her.
Pauline was born on June 10, 1927, the daughter of John and Bessie (Moore) Blair. Also born was her twin brother, Paul. She attended Clarkdale and Mystic Schools. Pauline was united in marriage to Ivan E. McNeff Sr. in 1945. They had two children, Ivan Jr. and Joetta.
Pauline lived some of her life in Mystic, Iowa City, Corydon, and for 56 years, she lived near Cincinnati. She lived 23 of those years by herself before her health failed, and she moved into the Shamrock Heights Apartments in 2005. Pauline was a homemaker, who helped her husband with field work, chores and taking care of the animals. She loved taking care of her family and grandson, Ivan III, riding horses, camping, riding motorcycles with Joetta and Ivan Jr., and traveling.
Left to cherish Pauline's memory are her daughter, Joetta (Dale) Clark of Corydon, Iowa; grandchildren, Ivan III (Trudy) McNeff of Walcott, Iowa, Daniel (Shyanne) Clark of Bondurant, Iowa, Jeffrey (Lauren) Clark of Des Moines, Iowa, Joshua Clark of Albia, Iowa and Kyle (Deena) Clark of Albia, Iowa; fifteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; as well as several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Blair; her husband, Ivan; a son, Ivan Jr; brothers, Merle, Jim, John Ernest, Harold, and her twin, Paul Blair; and a sister, Louise Foster.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Christy Ehrle officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Mystic. Visitation will take place Friday, October 29, 2021 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, with the family greeting friends from 9-11AM.
