Sheri Lynn Vincen, 57, of Cherryvale, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 at Wilson County Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.
Sheri was born January 23rd, 1964 in San Diego, California, the daughter of Harold Otto Cunningham and Betty Jo "Edwards" Cunningham.
Sheri attended Cherryvale school where she meet and formed lifelong friendships.
On May 28th 1988, in Cherryvale Kansas she was united in marriage to Jeff Vincen, he survives at the home.
Sheri enjoyed going to concerts, her favorite being Tom Petty. Cooking and watching cooking shows were a favorite pastime. She enjoyed the occasional trip to the casinos and always loved visiting with family and friends. Trips to San Diego to visit her brother Doug and his family were always fond memories for her.
If you were lucky enough to have her as your Aunt, or even if you were a friend of her boys, you had a second mother looking out for you.
Among her favorite places to work were The Woods in Independence as a waitress and Enterprise rental car in Independence where she retired due to failing health. She loved working with the public.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Vincen of the home, sons, Wesley Vincen of Cherryvale, Lucas Vincen of Independence and Clay Vincen of Cherryvale, brothers, Kenneth (Gayle) Cunningham of Cherryvale, Glenn (Sandy) Cunningham of Altamont and Doug (Linda) Cunningham of San Diego, California; grandchildren Darren Vincen, Ryder Vincen, Lillian Vincen and Abigail Vincen; many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Vickie Cunningham, nephews Billy Cunningham and Bo Cunningham and a niece Michelle Cunningham.
Celebration of Sheri's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday October 22nd, 2021 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335. A gathering of family and friends will be at the Cherryvale Community Center following the service.
