Linda Lou Acree, 71, of Dixon, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at her home.
Linda was an LPN for 34 years prior to her retirement.
Linda was born December 24, 1946, in Dixon, IL, the daughter of Merle and Rita (Wilson) Smith. She married Thomas H. Acree on August 16, 1991 in Dixon.
She is survived by two daughters, Lynette Roach, Melissa (Andrew) Schott; two sons, Dennis (Kathi) Milby, Jr., Matthew (Julie) Milby, Sr.; one step-son, Steven (Connie) Acree; all of Dixon; two step-daughters, Dawn (Steve) Rendelman of Dixon, Pam Little of Iowa City, IA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; twin sister, Sandra Sue (John) Wagner of AZ, and sister Roxane Wiseman of Dixon; one brother, Merle (Carol) Smith, Jr. of Grand Detour, and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Tom, on October 3, 2010.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m., on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Northside Baptist Church in Dixon, followed by a 10:00 a.m., funeral service, at the church, with Rev. Daniel Bentz, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
