Nancy Robertson, 76 of Seymour, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Ft. Worth.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverview Cemetery with Benny Archer officiating, under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Nancy was born October 24, 1944 in Seymour to Ben and Lavada Wooten Jones. She was a 1963 graduate of Seymour High School. Nancy started working as a carhop for Dairy Mart when she was about 14 years old, eventually going to the Rock Inn Café where she worked for many years before opening the New Maverick Café in 1998. Nancy worked hard all her life and was considered family by many in our community. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lisa Costello in 2009 and 3 sisters, Hazel Parker, Wanda Cook and Shirley Huddleston.
She is survived by 2 granddaughters, Misti Costello of Seymour and Mariah Costello of Ft. Worth; a sister, Peggy Blankenship of Wichita Falls; a brother, Kenneth Boyd Jones of Midland; 2 great grandchildren, Camille Costello and Rylan Powell and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
