Anthony Adolph Zeilman

Anthony Adolph Zeilman, age 85, of Fulton, Missouri passed away at his home October 11, 2021.

Anthony was born in Rich Fountain, Missouri, on August 21, 1936, the son of the late Elias and Mary Ann (Koerlier) Zeilman.

On February 1, 1964, he was married to Helen (Weatherell) Zeilman and she survives him.

After graduation from Sacred Heart, Tony worked on the family farm and then joined United Air Force in 1954. He served his country for four years and returned to Rich Fountain to work on the farm after his father passed away. He also worked for International Shoe Factory, McDonnell Douglas, truck driver and Missouri School for the Deaf.

In his spare time, Tony enjoyed fishing and barbequing. He was a collector of many things over the years as well as many hobbies which included being an aquarist, workingon antique gas engines, old tractors, gold carts, buying and selling vehicles.

Tony was generous, witty and a dedicated indivdual who loved to joke, kid around and was a prankster. He was passionate about learning new things in this ever changing world. Tony enjoyed palying pinochle, pitch, checkers, hearts and spades with family and friends at the bank.

Tony was a member of the American Legion, western Catholic Union and St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Tony will be lovingly remembered by wife of fifty-seven years, Helen; daughters, Marilyn Zeilman John (Shazed) of Holts Summit, Missouri and Tonya Walker (Christopher) of St. Charles, Missouri; brother, George Zeilman (Pat) of Luguna Woods, California; sister, Anna Otto of Jefferson CIty, Missouri; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Zeilman of Rich Fountain, Missouri; grandchildren, Anthony John, Jade, John and Samuel Walker.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by brothers, Francis Zeilman and Ed Zeilmanl brother-in-law, Nelson Otto.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Holts Summit, Missouri with Father Robert Ike officiating. Friends will be recieved fro 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens Mauseleum.

Memorial donations are suggested to Central Missouri Honor Flight or St. Andrew Catholic Church.
