Barbara Ruth Rorabaw passed away Thursday morning, October 21, 2021. She was 90 years old and went home to be with the Lord.
Family and friends can pay their respects at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett Monday, October 25th, 5:00-6:30 PM. The service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26th, at 10:00 AM at Central Baptist Church, 814 Tidal Street in Burkburnett with graveside service immediately following at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Christopher officiating.
Barbara was a member of Central Baptist Church in Burkburnett for more than 50 years. Her five children all came to know Jesus Christ as their savior and all were baptized at Central Baptist.
Barbara enjoyed teaching and was a substitute teacher for decades in the Burkburnett Independent School District. She traveled all over the world, living in Tripoli, Libya and Germany. She also did missionary work in Russia and Mexico. She loved spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to her family and the world.
Barbara's husband, Everett L. Rorabaw preceded her in death on May 21, 1994.
She is survived by her five children, Stephen Rorabaw, William Rorabaw, Mark Rorabaw, Jenifer Brock and Lori Allison; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Lovelace.
Memorial donations can be made in her name to Central Baptist Church or Grace Ministries in Burkburnett.
