Betty Justine Plugge of Hartman, Arkansas was born on August 2, 1933 in Peter Pender, Arkansas to Columbus Taylor and Dora Almond Ruston. She passed away on October 19, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was a devoted wife of 66 years, mother, and grandmother as well as a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, John Michael Plugge; her brother, Ervin Ruston; and her sister, Odell Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Plugge of the home; her sons, Larry Plugge and wife, Tammy of Hartman, Arkansas; Charlie Plugge and wife, Dana of Hartman, Arkansas; her daughters, Cynthia Adamec and husband, Mike of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Cheryl Miller and husband, Steve of Little Rock, Arkansas; her 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Jerome Kodell, OSB, Father William Wewers, OSB, and Father John Miranda officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hartman, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Justin Plugge, Aaron Plugge, Wesley Plugge, Thomas Plugge, Alex Adamec, Jake Hardgrave, Bobby Glaze, and Raun Allen.
