Mrs. Vada I. Reynolds, 96 years old died at the Ash Lawn Nursing Home in Eaton where she resided for the past four years. She was born Jan 22, 1876 near Gratis, the daughter of William and Jenny Landis Parrish.

Her first husband was Bert Brandenburg, father of her six children one of whom is deceased. After his death, she later married Jim Reynolds who died about 12 years ago.

Mrs. Reynolds had lived all her life in Preble Co. She was active in the Camden United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher until a short time ago. She was also a memeber of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Jennie Apple, New Lebenon, Mrs. Ruth Dixon of Eaton, Mrs. Nellie Owens, Mt. Prospect, IL, Mrs. Ada Friend, Brookville and Miss Eva Brandenburg, Dayton; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two sisters; Mrs. Hattie Fosdick, Richmond and Mrs. Orpha Cupp of Vandalia; two brothers, Amos Parrish and Berleigh Parrish of Wayne Lakes.

Services at Nein and Sons funeral home with Rev David Stichweh, paster of the Camden United Methodist church officiating.
