Brenda Marie Gravett was born on July 6, 1958. She was the 2nd youngest of the Gravett family of seven, and the second daughter, to her parents John and Annie Marie Blevins Gravett, and were blessed with six other children through their marriage, Ted, Ed, Don, Leta, Long and John Allen. Brenda was very intelligent, and a graduate of Rhea County High School in 1976. She was united in union with Tom Colbaugh on St. Patrick's Day 1977. They were blessed with her two most prized awards the day her son, Heath, and daughter, Amanda were born. She loved life and felt such a peace when she laid eyes on her "shining stars", grandchildren, Gaten Colbaugh and Gabriel Sharp. "Brenda" as she has always been known to all her family and many friends was very liked among all and never met a stranger. She will be missed by many that were blessed enough to know her and her contagious personality. She is preceded in death by: husband Tom Colbaugh, parents John Jr. and Annie Marie Blevins Gravett, brother Ed Gravett, sister-in-law Bonnie Gravett. She is survived by: Son Heath Colbaugh, Daughter Amanda Colbaugh both of Dayton,Tn. Sister Leta (Joe) Dyer Dayton, Tn., four brothers Ted & Don Gravett both of Dayton, Tn. Lon (Shelby) Gravett Chattanooga, Tn., John Allen Gravett of Dunlap, Tn. Two grandchildren Gaten Colbaugh, and Gabriel Sharp, several nieces & nephews.
