Frances "Danise" Tucker Fisher age 80 completed her earthly tasks and was met by her heavenly Father on Nov. 6, 2018.

Born youngest of ten children on Jan. 16, 1938 to the late Lonnie and Naomi Collier Tucker, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Victoria "Tori" Cook and Katie Brooke Weathers; brothers, Jimmy, Lonnie Mac and Ernest Tucker and sisters, Helen Vacha, Lois Holloway, Mary Blue and Katherine Tucker.

A 1956 graduate of Summertown High School, she served as class reporter and was a member of the Beta Club. She was employed by South Central Bell and worked as a book binder before becoming a career mother. She ran parent teacher organizations in Metro Davidson County and her time spent with the election commission there, followed her to Wilson County.

She loved working the polls and being with people. She was affiliated with the Easter Star, a cancer survivor who loved the Relay for Life and supported the Christian Childrens Home and the Shriners Children's Hospital.

Ms Fisher attended Commerce Church of Christ and Berea Church of Christ.

She spent all her years serving her family, friends,community and her Lord.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years,Robert B. Fisher; son, Rick(Shelia)Weathers; daughters, Vicki (Craig) Cook, Marsha (Jamey) Robertson, Michele Fisher, Helen (Tim) Thorne; grandchildren, Erika Journeay, Tyler and Tabitha Cook, Dusty, Jeremy and Devan Kingsland, Karlie Weathers and Clayton Thorne; great grandchildren, Luke and Alyssa White, Kasen Journeay, Thomas and Wyatt Kingsland, Michele, Lennox and Jasper Kingsland; two sisters, Norma Burns and Josephine Psota.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at Hunter Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-8 p.m. Friday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and son-in-laws as honorary pallbearers.

Interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the John Lay Cemetery in Etheridge, TN.

In lieu of flowers, she would have chosen to help the children of our community battling Cystic Fibrosis. Donations can be mailed to Cure for Our Friends, P.O. Box 1385, Mt. Juliet, TN 37121.
